The tradition of both participants issuing World Series programs was replaced by a single publication shared by both teams beginning in 1973. While this lot of (42) stadium-issued Fall Classic guides is appealing in that it contains both versions from (21) separate showdowns, its primary attraction is condition unlike any you’ve ever seen! It has been our experience that the consignor of this lot was always a stickler for preservation, but these guides are unmatched in terms of stunning qualities and presentation. Starting with the 1946 Series (Ted Williams’ lone October shot) between the Cardinals and Red Sox and ending with the 1973 A’s-Mets matchup, these guides (certainly the vast majority thereof) are the most pristine examples extant. Covers/pages are intact throughout and scoring grids are unmarked. More on our website.
