Long before streaming videos and up-to-the-second coverage, baseball and football fans would sit patiently by their radios and wait for national reports. This early 1950s Fort Pitt Beer scoreboard was displayed in bars and updated patrons on the outcomes of their favorite teams. The nearly 23-1/2 x 11-1/2" tin sign is double-sided and features blank scoring grids for multiple baseball or football teams. The six factory punch holes allowed customers to revise scores with chalk while the sign remained fastened to the wall. Presents in excellent condition and is absent of any significant paint chipping, contusions or other serious wear. Premier display piece!
