Description

A descendant of Man o' War and War Admiral, Bluegrass bred Iron Liege torched the field to win the 1957 Kentucky Derby. Presented is an original photo display from that event. Framed and matted to 12-3/4 x 14-3/4" with moderate wear to the wooden exterior, the sequenced photo collage depicts the racehorse during and after the 83rd "Run for the Roses". The 8x10 picture is firmly mounted to the matting and is flanked by notations relating to the gala. Extremely attractive one-of-a-kind piece.

Frames included with lots: while we make every effort to protect the frames included in these lots during pre-auction storage and post-auction shipping, we are not responsible for any damage to the frames themselves, and no refunds will be given due to frame damage.
