A time-honored gridiron tradition already in its 25th year, the 1922 Army vs. Navy game saw the Black Knights prevail, 17-14 to deadlock the all-time series at 12-12-1. Issued at Philadelphia’s Franklin Field that day, this program is an incredibly well-preserved survivor. The 96-page guide presents beautifully and is free of compacting folds common to stadium-issued publications of that era. While the front cover has very minor corner wear, the interior pages are crisp, indeed! Accompanying is that night’s edition of Philadelphia’s Evening Public Ledger.
