As seasoned as the “sweet science” it has documented for close to a century, The Ring Magazine has rightfully been dubbed boxing’s “bible.” This amazing collection of (28) vintage bound volumes includes (334) issues spanning January, 1932 to January, 1960. Impeccably persevered within handsome leather-bound covers with gilded title and year identifiers on the spines, the issues are introduced by colorful covers whose subjects run the gamut in terms of significant fighters and events. While the conditions are amazing throughout, we note that the 1932-1936 issues are missing their covers and both the 1947 and 1957 runs are missing their January issues. As Boxing libraries go, this one is an absolute “knockout!”
