From the Ivy League to the World League to the CFL and NFL, former quarterback Jason Garrett endured far less pressure in his back-up role as he currently does in the white-hot spotlight at the helm of the Dallas Cowboys. This New York Giants road jersey was worn by Garrett during the 2003 campaign. The white mesh/dazzle cloth blend pullover garment features twill identifiers, proper “Reebok” tagging and exhibits evidence of moderate wear. Comes with a COA from the New York Giants. The white mesh/dazzle cloth blend pullover garment features “17” sewn to the front, back and shoulders in red-on-blue twill, while “GARRETT” is sewn to a nameplate atop the back number in solid blue block-style twill characters. Blue stretch ribbed knit lines the V-neck, whose base is home to a red panel with an “NFL Equipment” logo badge. Within the collar, a swatch denotes “03-48.” The vented left front tail is home to a “Reebok” label and flap tags respectively denoting “2” L.B.” and size “48.” All original with no repairs or alterations, the jersey shows use in the form of scattered stains. These were likely incurred during practice, as Garrett was on the roster but did not play a single down in 2003.
