With plans in full swing to erect a brand spanking new venue at which D.C. fans could watch their “Braves on the warpath,” these plans for Redskins Stadium (now “FedEx Field”) diagram the facility in tier by tier details. Enclosed in a 37x25 black leather zippered pouch with handles to facilitate carrying, (13) thick stock boards each measure 32 x 23-1/2” and feature prints showcasing various stadium amenities. Submitted by Fred Schmid Associates, the diagrams illustrate the stadium’s concessions and interior design. A unique piece of D.C. gridiron history!
The carrying case presents beautifully and features two compartmental sleeves on the interior. The diagrams include: (4) concourse concession stand designs; (2) club level bar designs (interior and exterior); (2) upper concourse designs (with color coded vendor identifiers); (1) club level concession stands design; (1) lower concourse design (with color coded vendor identifiers); (1) lower level club suites design; (1) upper level club suites design; and (1) field level view.
