Description

Taking a cue from the upstart AFL, the NFL expanded its regular season schedule to 14 games in 1961. During a hotly contested season that saw Vince Lombardiís Green Bay Packers emerge as champions for the first of five times in seven years, these (42) gameday programs were issued at various gridiron venues. With covers and crisp pages intact throughout, the guides average (NM) quality and are, with high probability, the most pristine 1961 examples youíll ever see! Headlining the lot are: Bears vs. Vikings: issued at Metropolitan Stadium on September 17 for the first game in Minnesota Vikings history; program is (MT); Giants at Packers: issued at Green Bayís City Stadium for the December 31 championship game.
